Dazy Henzell
I’m Dazy Henzell. I’m 31 and I’m from Trinidad and Tobago.
I am an electrical engineer by training. I worked for the last five and a half years at Yara Trinidad Limited as an electrical engineer. I received a BSC in electrical and computer engineering of the West Indies, and right now, at Cranfield I’m studying for the full-time MBA.
Outside of that, I particularly like to spend my time playing tennis- I’m a little bit obsessed with it. So, I look at the tournaments on TV or try to attend, if I’m in the country where they are being held and I play a lot of tennis every week.
Yang Zeng
My name is Yang Zeng and I’m from, originally, from China. I came to the UK in 1999 and I did my undergraduate at University of Newcastle upon Tyne. And my major was in economics, and, after my degree, I worked in a private builders’ merchants based in the West Midlands, Code Caers Wolwerhampton. I worked as an overseas procurement manager for the company.
I really enjoy socializing with my friends. I’m quite an active person. I usually go running and sometimes, if I have time, I’ll go surfing with my friends.
Adam Cox
My name’s Adam Cox. I am 35 years old and I am from Australia.
Can you talk about your work experience?
Certainly. I have been self-employed, all my working life for 18 years. I started my first business when I was 16 years old, as a record store owner on the Gold Coast in Australia. From there, I opened a second store and a third. I sold those businesses off, eight years later. I, then, went to create a management business which I subcontracted to quite a number of international and national record labels, international and national artists across Australia, and then, I sold that business off and I started my own financial services and business consultancy, which I have owned for the last decade.
What qualifications do you have?
I did not finish High School. I do not have an undergrad (undergraduate). I have learnt pretty much of my experience from practical application. I have attended a Harvard Business School executive education course in the last 12 months, and now, I’m undergoing my MBA at Cranfield.
What interests and skills do you have?
I have quite a large interest in the music industry, having spent half of my professional career there. I enjoy quite a lot of sports and most of all, I enjoy interacting with people. So, being in a consultancy environment works very well with my personality.
