Règle :
We use the present simple to talk about habits and routines. For example, 'I go to work every day.' It describes what you do regularly.

Exemples :

  • I eat breakfast at 7 AM.
  • She plays tennis on weekends.
  • They go shopping every Saturday.
Erreur fréquente + correction :

  • I go to work every days. → I go to work every day. (Attention à la forme du mot 'day')

🟣 Using Present Progressive for Current Actions

Règle :
We use the present progressive to talk about actions happening right now. For example, 'I am eating lunch.' It describes what you are doing at the moment.
