🟣 Using Present Simple for Routine Actions
Règle :
We use the present simple to talk about habits and routines. For example, 'I go to work every day.' It describes what you do regularly.
- I eat breakfast at 7 AM.
- She plays tennis on weekends.
- They go shopping every Saturday.
- I go to work every days. → I go to work every day. (Attention à la forme du mot 'day')
- He go to school. → He goes to school. (Attention à la conjugaison)
🟣 Using Present Progressive for Current Actions
Règle :
We use the present progressive to talk about actions happening right now. For example, 'I am eating lunch.' It describes what you are doing at the moment.
- I am studying for my exam.
- She is reading a book.
- They are playing in the park.
- I am go to the store. → I am going to the store. (Attention à la forme du verbe)
- He is play football. → He is playing football. (Attention à la conjugaison)
🟣 Asking Questions in Present Simple
Règle :
We use 'do' or 'does' to ask questions in the present simple. For example, 'Do you like coffee?' It helps us find out information.

- Do they have a car?
- Does you like ice cream? → Do you like ice cream? (Attention à l'utilisation de 'do')

Règle :
We often use time expressions with present simple and present progressive. For example, 'I usually eat lunch at noon.' It helps to specify when something happens.
- I often go to the gym.
- She is currently studying.
- They usually play soccer on Sundays.
- I am usually eat breakfast. → I usually eat breakfast. (Attention à la forme du verbe)
- He plays often video games. → He often plays video games. (Attention à l'ordre des mots)
